About Wright School

This is a sliding scale approved program

Wright School is a residential schools for children and adolescents who have severe emotional and behavioral needs. Both schools employ a re-education model which prepares the child or adolescent to successfully return to his community. These schools serve the entire state.

Services Provided:

    Mental health treatment program that provides a unique combination of residential services and in- home parent practice towards the goal of children living at home full time.
    On-campus school serving children and youth with special needs (K-8) in self-contained classrooms
    Parental support through in-home meetings and monthly workshops
    Professional trainings for parents, schools and community service providers
    Structured daily activities led by highly-qualified staff in the milieu
    Individualized special education programming led by masters level teacher counselors
    Group meetings for planning, problem solving and evaluation
    Structured behavior management and feedback systems
    Recreation and social skills training
    Services of a board-certified child psychiatrist (including medication management), clinical social worker, speech language pathologist, reading specialist and occupational therapist
    Community school support to include education, advocacy and development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
    Comprehensive assessment in select areas to include: educational, speech/language, social/emotional, adaptive behavior, social communication and motor skills




Sliding Scale

Wright School operates under a sliding fee scale payment model. What this means to you is that Wright School provides their services even to patients who cannot afford care (such as low-income or who people who need to self-pay). Patients will pay according to their income. Be prepared to provide information on your household income.
