The city health centers accept Medicare, Medicaid (Medical Assistance) and most insurance and HMO plans.
If you are not insured, they charge a small fee based on family size and income.
They can help you apply for health insurance that you can afford.
As a registered patient, you will receive your own personal doctor.
It's a much better way to get medical care than going from doctor to doctor or rushing to the emergency department if something goes wrong.

- medical examinations and medication for registered patients

- prenatal care

- family planning and advice on pregnancy options

- comprehensive pediatric care for infants, children and adolescents

- vaccinations for infants, children and adolescents

- Child development assessments

- nutritional advice in healthy weight for children and young people

- nutrition counseling and health education

- flu shots

- HIV, STD and STS testing

- basic dental care, emergency dental care

- laboratory tests, x-rays and tests for tuberculosis

- referrals to specialized services for registered patients

- social work support that connects patients to follow-up care, education/counselling and other services

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Wednesday: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm

Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) Insurance Coverage For Mental Health

Obamacare purchased from the Health Care Marketplaces covers Mental Health Care and Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Under the Health Care Law there are 10 categories of benefits. Mental Health Care and Substance Abuse Treatment are two of the 10.

If you have Affordable Care Act Coverage you will have mental health care coverage.
