Community Mental Health Center

One World Community Health Centers is a certified Community Mental Health Center and therefore operates through federal and state funds made possible by the Community Mental Health Act. The purpose of these funds to make diagnosis and treatment available to low-income and indigent individuals. The services are either free or under a sliding-scale. These services are available to people of all ages who do not have health insurance.

County or Local Government Funds

Counties are often responsible for backing services like schools and hospitals. One World Community Health Centers receives funding from either the county or another local government. Federal Grants

One World Community Health Centers receives federal grants destined for mental health services. This means that One World Community Health Centers either recieved money to obtain certification or training for its employees or it has recieved money to offer services such as suicide prevention, telehealth programs, or other behavioral initiatives.

Medicare

One World Community Health Centers accepts Medicare, a federal health insurance program for people age 65 and older and people with disabilities.

Medicare covers a wide range of mental health services.

Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) helps cover mental health services that you would generally get outside of a hospital, including visits with a psychiatrist or other doctor, visits with a clinical psychologist or clinical social worker, and lab tests ordered by your doctor.
