About Ferncare Free Clinic

This is an appointment only clinic. The only criteria: no health insurance of any kind and no primary care provider. All calls are returned within 24 hours. The Resource Page has a list of other free clinics in the area.

• Patient Criteria


• Patients must be between the ages of 19 through 64.


• Patients must provide a photo ID.


• Patients have NO insurance of any kind and no primary care provider.


• Patients are required to sign a Patient Contract as well as fill out a Health History and Information forms.

Hours:
Six Clinics Per Month
    1st and 3rd Saturdays - 9 a.m. to noon
    2nd and 4th Mondays - 9 a.m. to 12 p.m

    New Patients ONLY
    2nd and 4th Thursdays - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m
    Telehealth Visits are available throughout the week. Please call the office to schedule your appointment

Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) Insurance Coverage For Mental Health

Obamacare purchased from the Health Care Marketplaces covers Mental Health Care and Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Under the Health Care Law there are 10 categories of benefits. Mental Health Care and Substance Abuse Treatment are two of the 10.

If you have Affordable Care Act Coverage you will have mental health care coverage.
