The Health Department, through the Community Health Center, offers a broad spectrum of personal and community services directed at individuals and families of all races, genders and ages who are unable to access the private medical sector.

Services available

Adult Primary Care
Adult physicals
Treatment of acute and chronic illness

Preventive Care
Screening for breast and cervical cancer
Screening for colon cancer
Testing, Treatment, Counseling for Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV/AIDS

Mental Health Services (referral through primary care physician - available at Belvidere Medical Building location only)
Diagnostic evaluation
Psychotherapy
Psychiatric assessment
Crisis intervention for adults

Pediatrics
The Pediatrics Clinic provides complete care to children from birth to age 18. The staff is experienced and enjoys working with children. If you wish, you can choose the care team you want your child to visit regularly. This helps us get to know you and your child's needs.
It is our goal to give your child the best quality care. Our well child visits give a complete and caring picture of your child's needs. We take care of children when they are sick and when they are well. We make sure they are growing like they should.

Third party billing for Medicaid, Medicare or insurance is available
Clients may request an application for a sliding fee scale
Clients with managed care insurance will need to verify the hospital that is associated with their plan.
No one is denied services due to inability to pay
