Adult Health Clinic
The purpose of the Adult Health Clinic is to diagnose and treat patients with sexually transmitted diseases and other communicable diseases. They provide Tuberculosis detection, treatment, education, and follow-up. The Clinic also provides HIV counseling, testing, and confidential partner notification.

BreasTest & More
BreasTEST & More provides breast and cervical cancer screenings and follow-up to low income and uninsured Georgia women 40 to 64 years of age. Some younger women with symptoms of breast cancer may also qualify.

Children 1st
Connects families and their children with medical preventive care or developmental services available through health care providers and other community resources. This program serves as the point of entry to services such as: Children Medical Services, Babies Can't Wait, First Care (High Risk Infant Follow up) and Universal Newborn Hearing and Screening Intervention.

General Clinic
The General Clinic provides immunizations for a wide variety of communicable diseases for all ages. Travel vaccines are available as well. The Clinic also provides scoliosis screenings for all junior high students and conducts immunization audits of kindergartens- 6th grade and daycare. Hearing, vision and dental screenings are also available for school aged children.

Laboratory Services
The health department can provide general laboratory services as ordered by a physician. Fees vary by test, please call the health department for more information.

Teen/ Adolescent Health Clinic
Abstinence counseling, pregnancy testing, physical exam with birth control, STD evaluation, Healthy lifestyle counseling, HIV counseling and testing, and referrals for various health problems.

Women's Health
The Women's health program provides physical exams with pap smears, lab testing, and assessment for contraceptives.

Women Infant Children (WIC) Services
The WIC program provides nutrition education, vouchers for supplemental food and breastmilk substitute (infant formula) to pregnant women, infants and children up to age 5. We strongly support breastfeeding as the primary source of nutrition for infants age 0 - 1 year and have Breastfeeding Peer Counselors who provide support, encouragement and breastfeeding education to pregnant and postpartum women. WIC clients are screened for nutrition risk and must meet income guidelines to qualify for this federally funded program.

Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) Insurance Coverage For Mental Health

Obamacare purchased from the Health Care Marketplaces covers Mental Health Care and Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Under the Health Care Law there are 10 categories of benefits. Mental Health Care and Substance Abuse Treatment are two of the 10.

If you have Affordable Care Act Coverage you will have mental health care coverage.
