UF Health and Family assesses, diagnoses and treats behavioral health conditions and coordinate care services.
Patients receive psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, grief and loss, PTS and other behavioral health conditions including
- Sex, including porn addiction.
- Gambling addictions includes sports addiction, casino online electronic gambling, etc.
- Internet addictions including online games (also listed below). Often called Internet Addiction Disorder which is compulsive internet usage.
- Shopping, includes online shopping.
- Video game addiction.
- Plastic surgery.
- Binge eating, food addiction.
- Depression

Financial Assistance
UF Health Jacksonville provides emergency (as defined by the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act EMTALA), urgent and other medically necessary healthcare services to individuals without discrimination and regardless of their ability to pay. Patients who are unable to pay for their healthcare services may qualify for financial assistance based upon their income. Patients who have a family adjusted income less than 200% of current federal poverty guidelines may be eligible for a discount up to 100%.

Medicare

UF Health Family Medicine - Lem Turner accepts Medicare, a federal health insurance program for people age 65 and older and people with disabilities.

Medicare covers a wide range of mental health services.

Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) covers inpatient mental health care services you get in a hospital. Part A covers your room, meals, nursing care, and other related services and supplies.

Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) helps cover mental health services that you would generally get outside of a hospital, including visits with a psychiatrist or other doctor, visits with a clinical psychologist or clinical social worker, and lab tests ordered by your doctor.

Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug ) helps cover drugs you may need to treat a mental health condition. Each Part D plan has its own list of covered drugs, known as formulary. Learn more about which plans cover various drugs.
