Behavioral Health

Being healthy means more than being physically fit. Your mental wellness is every bit as important. That’s why we provide behavioral health programs in locations throughout New Mexico, most of which are within or near our community health centers.

At PMS, we offer a wide range of therapy and treatment options. We serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our clients come from all walks of life and all diversities. Some of our common services include providing individual, couples, family and group therapy for mental health and substance use disorders, medication evaluation and management, and crisis intervention.

PMS provides specialty behavioral health programs based on local community need. These include specialty court services, Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST), Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Psycho-Social Rehabilitation (PSR), Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS), Behavioral Management Services (BMS), Respite, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Traditional Healing.

PMS offers services in a manner accessible and available to individuals in their community. Aspects of this accessibility include the need for access at times and places convenient for those served, prompt assessment and engagement in services, access to crisis services and person-centered treatment planning and services.

Sliding Scale

Farmington Community Health Center operates under a sliding fee scale payment model. What this means to you is that Farmington Community Health Center provides their services even to patients who cannot afford care (such as low-income or who people who need to self-pay). Patients will pay according to their income. Be prepared to provide information on your household income.
