This facility offers a safe, considerate place for women coping with the effects of substance abuse, mental health problems, and domestic violence.  They design their programs to address the specific concerns of women and mothers, and we are particularly sensitive to the possibility of past trauma in our client’s lives. It features an outdoor serenity garden, children’s playground, and space for family meetings. Some of the treatment includes individual and group therapy, substance abuse education, mental health counseling, and vocational and educational services. Emphasis is placed on parenting, child development, and family counseling. Referrals to a network of social service agencies ensure access to job placement and housing.
