Sliding Scale

Region IV Behavioral Health operates under a sliding fee scale payment model. What this means to you is that Region IV Behavioral Health provides their services even to patients who cannot afford care (such as low-income or who people who need to self-pay). Community Mental Health Center

Region IV Behavioral Health is a certified Community Mental Health Center and therefore operates through federal and state funds made possible by the Community Mental Health Act. The purpose of these funds to make diagnosis and treatment available to low-income and indigent individuals. The services are either free or under a sliding-scale. These services are available to people of all ages who do not have health insurance.

Federal Grants

Region IV Behavioral Health receives federal grants destined for mental health services. This means that Region IV Behavioral Health either recieved money to obtain certification or training for its employees or it has recieved money to offer services such as suicide prevention, telehealth programs, or other behavioral initiatives.

Community Mental Health Center

Community Mental Health Centers operate through federal and state funds made possible by the Community Mental Health Act. The purpose of these funds to make diagnosis and treatment available to low-income and indigent individuals. The services are either free or under a sliding-scale.
